You won't want to miss the 53rd Annual Northern Illinois Art Show on June 1 and 2, 2024. It is held on the DeKalb County Courthouse Lawn in downtown Sycamore, Illinois. The two-day juried show features the work of more than 60 artisans exhibiting their fine arts and crafts and draws over 1500 visitors annually.
Artisans showcase their fine arts and crafts in various mediums including watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels, photography, ceramics, garden art, jewelry, fused glass, and other three-dimensional media.
KVAL member artists also offer a group exhibit displaying their artwork in all media. The “Art of Giving Raffle” is a popular part of the show. Customers can enter the raffle to possibly win original pieces of artwork donated by KVAL members and show vendors.
Admission to the show is free to the public. Musical entertainment adds to show’s relaxing atmosphere, and food is provided by Troop 33 of Scouting America.

The heavy snow during the week of January 8-12 put a damper on the KVAL GALLERY ART GALA that was held at KVAL member Joe Dillett’s estate in Genoa on Friday, January 12. Approximately 20 KVAL artists were represented at this fundraiser that benefited KVAL Gallery on State.
